1Who we are

Ulpanora Hebrew School (“we”, “us”) operates from Frishman St 46, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@ulpanora.pro or by phone on +972 3 527 4418.

2What we collect

• Details you send in the enquiry form: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, current level, preferred course and format, and your message.
• For enrolled students: attendance, progress notes and payment records.
• Technical data your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
• Your cookie preference, stored in your own browser.

3Why we use it

We use these details to answer your enquiry, arrange placement calls and trial lessons, place you in a group, track progress and issue receipts. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

4Legal basis

We handle personal information in line with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to you, we rely on your consent, on steps you ask us to take before a contract, or on our legitimate interest in running the website securely.

5Cookies

Essential cookies and local storage remember your cookie choice and keep forms working. Optional analytics cookies are set only after you click “Accept”. You can reopen the banner at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer and change your choice.

6Third-party content

Pages embed a Google Map and load fonts from Google Fonts. When these load, Google receives your IP address and browser information under its own privacy policy. We do not control that processing.

7How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are deleted after 12 months. Student records are kept for 3 years after the last course; payment records for 7 years as required by Israeli tax law.

8Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate (for example email hosting or accounting), under written confidentiality obligations, or where Israeli law requires disclosure.

9Online lessons

Online groups run on a third-party video platform. Lessons are not recorded except for the structured grammar part, which is shared only with the group.

10Your rights

You may ask to review the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to hello@ulpanora.pro; we answer within 30 days.

11Security

Forms are sent over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiries is limited to staff who need it to reply.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version.
