BetPast tense, daily routine, shopping, directions
GimelFuture tense, work, health, renting a flat
DaletOpinions, news, phone calls with offices
HeyFormal letters, meetings, longer texts
VavLiterature, debate, academic and legal Hebrew
Placement
Not sure where you are? We test gently
The placement is a relaxed 20-minute video call with a teacher. You read a short text, answer a few questions and chat. No grades — just a recommendation.
Most people who “know a little” are surprised to start at Bet or Gimel.
